2025 Pony Express Re-Ride

Each June, the National Pony Express Association brings history to life with the Pony Express Re-Ride. Over 10 days, 750 riders carry 1,000 letters in a mochila across the original 1,966-mile trail from California to Missouri (west-to-east in odd years, east-to-west in even years). This eight-state relay recreates the 1860s mail service, with riders galloping through prairie, sagebrush, and mountains to deliver mail on horseback.In Marysville, riders arrive in Marysville around 4am this year, marking a historic stop on the trail.
